POST OFFICE, NAPIER.
The s.s. Kahu will leave Auckland for the I Chatham Islands on Wednesday, 28th ingfc Mails will close at Napier on Saturday, 24th inst., at i p.m. Monday, the 26th Inst., and Monday, 2nd prox., wul be observed as close holidays at all Post-offices. Mails usually .closed on Mondays will be closed on tho^previous Saturday nights at 10 o'clock. On "the same Saturday evenings a delivery of letters will be. made i over the counter at chief Post-office after late , moils have been sorted, commencing at about 9.30 p.m., and all receivers and posting boxes will be cleared at 8 p.m. and contents disposed of. Sunday hours will be observed in the 1 private Box lobbies on 26th inst. and. 2nd January next, • •On Tuesday, 27th inst. (for Boxing Day), Post-offlcea will be open from 9 to 10 a.m. r One delivery by letter carriers will be made in Napier and Hastings, commencing at.B a,m., and mails usually despatched during the day will be closed at 9.30 a.m.: The s.s.
