LARRIKINISM.
SIR, — Allow mespaoe in your columns to comment upon the larrikinism that exists in this district. A communication appeared a short time ago in a Napier evening paper from one Who signed himself " Sit," stating that there was no foundation for what had been published in the same paper on the subject of larrikinism in Havelock by " Pro Bono Publico " ; but as a resident in the district, and one who has travelled the colonies through, I must say that I never met with such wild, unruly lads as there are in this small township ; and I am more than surprised at " Sit," who instead of setting a good example, is simply encouraging local larrikinism. — I am, &c, A Besident in the District. Havelock North, November 28.
