SYNOPSIS OP NEW ADVEBTISEMENTS. Mr Edward Lyndon will sell at his rooms this morning the residue of the effects of Mr C. E. Williams and other goods. Mr C. L. Margoliouth will sell at his mart on the 12th of June, by order of the mortgagee, a block of land at Makaretu. Mr H. P. Cohen, of the Little Dust Pan, Hastings-street, advertises the Haake and Mignon pianos, which he will sell either for cash at wholesale price, or on the two yeara' purchase hire system. Mr F. Russell, grocer and fruiterer, Shakespeare - hill, advertises early seed potatoes, fruit of all kinds, and fresh oysters* Mrs Chissell, of the registry office, Emerson-street, has several vacancies for servants. The secretary of the Hawke's Bay Perimanent Building Society will be in attendance at the Bank of New South Wales, Hastings, from 5.15 to 6.30 this evening. Messrs Hutchins and Co., Woodville, insert a list ot Woodville properties which they have for sale. Particulars are inserted respecting Adam Bede's consultation on the Melbourne Cup. Mr W. Chissell announces the opening of his new shop in Emerson-street to-day. Messrs Hannah and Co., Hastingsstreet, announce that during the winter months they will close at 6 o'clock every j evening except Saturday, on which evening they will close at 10 o'clock. An addition is made to the list of persons who have taken out shooting licenses. Mr W. S. Seavey, Hastings-street, haa a number of sections at Woodville for sale. Mr Seavey has been appointed agent for Robert .Cleave s nurseries at Invercargill, and will execute orders for trees and shrubs of all kinds. Fashions for the season.
