No entry will be received for any race except npon the condition that all claims, disputes, and objections arising out of the racing shall be settled by the Stewards or whom they may appoint, and their decision on all points shall be final. All protests must be accompanied with a deposit of 5 soys, which sum shall be .forfeited if the protest is not sustained. The Eules and Weights as adopted by the Petane Eacing Club will be strictly adhered to. Five per cent, will be deducted from the gross amount of all stakes. Horses walking over will only receive 50 per cent, of the stakes. "Hack" shall mean a horse that has never started in a weight for age or handicap race.
