I SYNOPSIS OF NEW AOVEBTISEMENTS.
Messrs Monteith and Co. will sell at the Horse Bazaar this morning, in addition to horses of various descriptions, the whole of Mr Pell's black-breasted game fowls. Messrs C. B. Hoadley and Co. will hold their monthly stock sale at Hastings on the 7th of May, when they will offer a large number of cows, bullocks, mixed cattle, sheep, and horses. Messrs C. B. Hoadley and Co. make additions to the Woodville sections which they will offer at the Hawke's Bay Wool Stores next Wednesday afternoon. Mr F. Algar, land and estate agent, Tennyson-street, has for sale a property ,in West Clive adjoining the residence of Sir George Whittnore. The Land and Loan Company have for sale Noonday oil, and various descriptions of grass 3eed. The Haioke's Bay Weekly Courier} published yesterday, contains the monthly summary for the San Francisco mail, which will close at the Napier post-office at 2.30 this afternoon. The Courier is the only weekly newspaper published in Hawke's Bay. Mr F. Algar, Tennyson-street, inserts particulars respecting the " Hawke's Bay Property Gazette," which contains a list of the • properties he has for sale. Messrs Wilding and Co., of the Waipukurau steam sawmills, announce that they . have opened a timber yard in Wellesley- }4 road, Napier, opposite the railway station. Mr W. Westlake, of the Working Men's Store, Ormondville, inserts a business advertisement. Prices of admission and other particulars are inserted in reference to the Waipawa Racing Club's meeting, which will be held at Kaikora next Friday. Messrs Kohn Bros., watchmakers ,'jA jewellers, who are disposing of their "V\€mganui branch, will offer a portion of_ their stock in Napier, in the premises opposite the Caledonian Hotel. Jacob Faithful advises intending investors in his consultation to apply at once, as it will close in a few days. Persons wishing to hold appointments in the New Zealand Militia as officers or noncommissioned officers are requested to apply to Captain F. W. Garner.
