Tomlinson and Hayward's Linooln Sheep Dip. DIPPING SEABON, 1884. IMPORTANT NOTIOE TO FLOCKMASTERS. THE NEW COLONIAL COLD WATER SHEEP DIP. rjWLINSON & "JI AYWAR]D,S "LINCOLN SHEBP DIP," A CERTAIN KILLER of TICKS, their Eggs, LICE, their Ova, and ALL PARASITES INFESTING THE SKINS OF SHEEP AND LAMBS. It is effectual in warding off the attacks of the Maggot Fly, that are so troublesome in Woodland and Mountainous Districts during the Summer and Autumn Months. At the request of numerous friends in New Zealand, preferring a Poisonous Cold Water Dip to a Non-Poisonous one, we have been induced to Manufacture ONE SPECIALLY ADAPTED TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF NEW ZEALAND. And tbe mode of Dipping with Cold Water alone, Hot Water being so difficult to procure on the large Sheep Runs in sufficient quantities for Dipping purposes. Although we strongly recommend our Non- Poisonous " Glycerine Dip,'' in preference to a Poisonous one, for increasing the growth and quality of the Wool, and_ for^ all the other purposes required of a Sheep Dip when it can be used according to direotions, and the Sheep allowed to remain in the Bath the required time ; we can, on introducing our "Lincoln Sheep Dip " (Poisonous) to the notice of New Zealand Sheepfarmers, confidently recommend it as being one of the most efficacious for the various purposes before mentioned, And for keeping the Sheep clean for a longer period than has been attained by any other make of Sheep Dip. This Dip has been thoroughly tested, and proved to be exceedingly efficacious and durable in the Wool. THE " LINCOLN SHEEP m _>!._> " Thoroughly Cleanses and Purifies the Skin ot the Sheep, THEREBY PROMOTING THE GROWTH AND IMPROVING THB QUALITY OF WOOL WITHOUr INJURING IT. Owing to the extraordinary time of tho late Trials by the H.B.A. and P. Sooiety, and MESSRS TOMLINSON & HAYWARD being unaware of same, this Dip did not arrive in time, but from the published results of the Poisonous and Carbolised Dips at the Trials, this » LINCOLN SHEEP DIP" will give FAR SUPERIOR RESULTS, AND WE RESPEOTFULLY SOLICIT A TRIAL. Tomlinson and Hayward's Improved Glycerine Dip. DIPPING SEASON, 1884. THE IMPROVED GLYCERINE DIP, SOLUBLE IN COLD WATER. THIS NON-POISONOUS DIP is unrivalled for the complete DESTRUCTION of TICKS, LICE, and PARASITES of every description infesting the SKIN of Sheep, Lambs, Cattle, and other animals. It has gained the highest reputation, for it possesses the double advantage of simultaneously repelling contagion andi cleansing the skin from filth. IT DOES NOT DISCOLOE THE WOOL Or act injuriously upon the natural Yolk of same, but FEEDS THE FLEECE, MAINTAINS THE NATURAL LUSTRE, and wonderfully promotes its Growth. This DIP is not a cheap chemical fluid, but a blend of ingredients (Glycerine being one) which all tend to benefit the animal and the Wool, and these ingredients are mixed by new powerful steam machinery, so that a thorough consistency is always obtained. One dipping with this DIP (in mid fleece), to our directions, will save the great inconvenience of dipping twice, as is the case with some Dips.
