HAYWARD begs to announce that A PUBLIC TRIAL Will take place at Mr Douglas' dip, Pu« kawa, on THURSDAY MORNING KJfiXT, 14th instant, weather permitting, when all Sheepowners are invited to be present. Through the kindness of Mr Carrutherß, the 7.25 morning train from Napier will stop at the Dip, which is close alongside the line. TERMS. lat. — Any maker of Sheep Dip, or his agent, will be allowed to compete on paying his own expenßeß and finding sheep. 2nd. — Lousy sheep to be selected for the trial. 3rd, — Three or. four practical •heep* farmers, in nowise interested in the Bale of a Sheep Dip, to be the judges. 4th. — The judges to be present ab the time of dipping, as per H.B.A. & P. Society's trials. sth. — The judges to examine the sheep one month after dipping, Bame as H.B.A. & P. Society. 6th. — Lousy sheep then to be cut among the dipped ones. 7th. — The judges then to examine the sheep six weeks afterwards and report as to the condition of the several sheep and the wool thereon.
