4 Heraij) Office, Saturday evening. MESSES HOADLEY, tYON AND CO.'S WEEKLY REPORT. Hastings Monthly Sale.— On Thursday we held onr monthly stock sale at Hastings, when we yarded 2105 sheep, 10 heaa cattle, and 7 horses. The sale was without animation, our sales being 157 crossbred ewes, mixed ages, 6s ; 101 crossbred ewes, fat. 10s ; 109 crossbred wethers, 10s 6d; the balance were withdrawn, not reachiner owners* reserves. Cattle and horses unsaleable. We afterwards sold a lot of new saddlery at satisfactory prices. Sheepskins, &c. — This morning we held our weekly sale of sheepskins, tallow, &c. Our catalogue contained 853 sheepskins, 20 packages odd lots wool, 11 packages tallow and fat, which all sold as follows :— Sheepskins, merino, good, 6£d, o}d ; medium, 4d, 4}d ; short and inferior, l^d, 2f d, 3fd ; crossbred, good, 3^d, 4d, 4 Jd, 4Jd, 4£d ; medium, 2|d, 3d, 3Jd; short and inferior, lsd, 2Jd, 2Jd. Wool, odd lots, full values ; tallow, station lots, good, 3Jd, 3f d ; rough fat, good, 2Jd. Wool.— Onr third wool f ale of the season will be bold on Wednesday next at the Hawke's Bay Wool Stores, when we shall offer 200 bales and 130 pockets of merino and crossbred wools.
