The Union Steamship Company's s.s. Rotomahana arrived in the bay from Melbourne via Southern ports and Wellington at 11.60 a.m. on Saturday. The Boojum dropped alongside immediately for passengers and mails, and the lighters for over 100 tons ol cargo and a number of sheep. The following is a report of the Rotomahana's passage up the coast :— Left Port Chalmers at 5.30 p.m. on the 6th inßt., arrived at Lyttelton at 10 a.m. on the 7th inst. : left a«ain at 8 p.m. same day, and arrived at Wellington at 9.10 a.m. on the Bth ; left again at 7.30 p.m. same day, and arrived here as stated above. Kiwi, Captain James Campbell, finished discharging her enrgo on fcaturday niorninp, and in the afternoon left again for Wellington. The p.s. ilanain, Captain W. E. Baxter, broiight up at the breastwork at 9 o'clock on Saturday night from Wairoa. She will probably be leaving for the same port again this evening. The three-ma6ted schooner Coquette, Captain Brown, left the breastwork on Saturday for New* castle, N.S.W., via tho Great Barrier. She will take in a load of timber at the latter port for Newcastle.
