Tomlmson and Hayward's Lincoln Sheep Dip. DIPPING SEASON, 1884. IMPOETANT NOTICE TO FLO CKM ASTERS. i --„___. _. .. . _ THE NEW COLONIAL COLD WATER SHEEP DIP TOMLINSON & "JJAYWABD'S ; "LINCOLN SHEEP DIP/ 5 A CERTAIN KILLER : OF . TICKS, their Eggs, LICE, their Ova, and ALL i PARASITES INFESTING- THE SKINS OF SHEEP AND LAMBS. It is effectual in warding off the attacks of the Maggot Fly that ; are so troublesome in Woodland and Mountainous ■' Districts during the Summer and I Autumn Months. At the request of numerous friends in New Zealand, preferring a Poisonous Cold Water » Dip to a Non-Poisonous one, we have been induced to Manufacture ONE SPECIALLY ADAPTED TO MEET THE EEQUIKEMENTS OF NEW ZEALAND, And the mode of Dipping with Cold Water alone, Hot Water being so difficult to procure on the large Sheep Runs in sufficient quantities for Dipping purposes. Although we strongly recommend our Won- Poisonous " Glycerine Dip,'' in preference to a Poisonous one, for increasing the growth and quality of tho Wool, and for all the other purposes required of a Sheep Dip when it can be used according to directions, and the Sheep allowed to remain in the Bath the required time ; we can, on introducing our " Lincoln Sheep Dip " (Poisonous) to the notice of New Zealand Sheepfarmers, confidently J recommend it as being one of the most efficacious for the various purposes before mentioned, And f<?r keeping the Sheep clean for a longer period than has been attained by any other , make of Sheep Dip. This Dip has been thoroughly tested and proved to be exceedingly efficacious, and durable in the Wool. : " linooln t site:e:p dip m ; Thoroughly Cleanses and Purifies the Skin i of the Sheep, THEREBY PROMOTING THE GROWTH AND IMPROVING THE - ; QUALITY OF "WOOL WITHOUT INJURING IT. Owing to the extraordinary time of the late Trials by the H.B.A. and P. r Society, and MESSRS TOMLINSON & HAYWARD being unaware of same, this Dip did not arrive in time, but from the published results of the Poisonous and Carbolised Dips at the Trials, this "LINCOLN SHEEP DIP " will give J FAR SUPERIOR RESULTS, P AND WE RESPECTFULLY SOLICIT A TRIAL.
