HERAIiD Officr. Weduesday evening-. Messrs TH". JR. Miller and Potts report a very po»r attendance at their sale of cattle at Hastings ye.-ter-.day, and prices realised for the few sold were so low tbat the bulk of the cattle (chiefly female) were withdrawn. Sales :— 4s steers, lsyearlinßS, 40s each ; 2-year-old do. 15 at 6''s to 70s each ; 3 year and upward, 7 at 90s each ,* and « cows at 80s ench j and 46 head mixed aires, female yearlings to aged, 35s to 00s each. A few horses were sold— l colt. £l; one do, £8; mare, £8; bay draught colt, £3 1.
