A firm and active demand was experienced at to-day's wool sale. The catalogue comprised 9200 bales. The homeward mail 3, via Naples, which left Melbourne on May 15 per Orient steamer Cotopaxi, were delivered here to-day. The mails via Suez and Brindisi, dated Melbourne, May 9, were also delivered to-day.
