Melbouene, Wednesday. A great'demonstration of fire brigades took place here last night, and a torchlight, .procession was. formed in which fully 3000 persons took part. The demonstration, passed off with great eclat. Both Houses of Parliament adjourned last.night- as a mark of respect for the late.3ll.on. Robert". Ramsay, formerly Chief Secretary of the colony. A.great j fire -broke out in the Govern-ment-printing office, Treasury Gardens, to-day. It i 9 believed that the building is completely giitted.
