Contested applications for any of fche deferred payment sections will be decided on the 22nd February, at Hawera, immediately before the auction sale of the cash land. The sections in Block XIII., Kaupokonui, abut on the continuous Native Heaerve, between the Auroro Road and the Uero River. The sections in Block V., Ngaire, lie to the westward of tho Waingongoro River, and are connected with the railway-line by cleared road-lines. The bush is mainly liglit timber, soft woods, and a few rata, and the land is well watered. Full particulars may be obtained and plans inspected at any land office in the colony. C. A. ABOUT 125 acres of the new Township of Rotorua, near the Maori Settlement of Ohinemutu, will be offered for Lease by Public Auction on the 7th MAROH, 1832, AT THE CROWN LANDS OFFICE, AUCKLAND. Tho Business Sites will comprise quarteracre and the Villa Sites half-acre lots. A few Suburban Lots of 5 acres and 10 acres each, and Small Farms varying from 40 to 60 acres, will also be offered. The lots as marked on the plan will be let on lease for ninety-nine years, under arrangement made by the Gevernment of New Zealand with bhe proprietors of the soil. The letting will be by auction, at the office of the Commissioner of Crown Lands, in Auckland, on the 7th of March, 1882. Rents will be payable half-yearly, the first half-year being paid on the day of sale. All mineral waters, hot springs, and Btreams are and remain vested in the Crown. The reserves for schools, post-office, tele-graph-office, railway, hospital, and other public objects will bo shown on the maps on tho day of sale. The recreation-grounds will bo reserved for the public, and will be under the management of a local body. There will be a resident medical officer, appointed by the Government. The government of the town will bo by a local body constituted under v The Thermal Springs District Act, 1881." Some of tho building sites, peculiarly suitable for residences, will be let subject to restrictions as to use for trades or shops. The hotels and lodging-houses will be governed by regulations suitable to the exceptionol character and requirements of the town. Bents will be paid half-yearly, in Auckland, or in thetown, as may be found convenient. Possession of the land will be given immediately after the auction. The lots may bo now identified on tho ground by marked pegs. The use of tho waters, and all similar arrangements, will be under the control of tho doctor and a local body. Copies of the plans and full printed particulars can be seen at any Post or Telegraph Office, Railway Station, and Athenteum, or they can be obtained from any Commissioners of Crown Lands at any Land Office in tho colony.
