The Oreti will leave for Poverty Bay and Auckland on Monday. The fourth quarter of the Hastings ladies' school will commence on Wednesday next. Mr T. K. Newton advertises a liat of now gvoceries and draperies just received. The programme for the annual Petane race meeting, to be held on the 2nd January, is inserted. Messrs Kuddock and Fryer have sheep shears on sale, and daily expect Ward and Payne's double bow shears. An auction sale of goods left from St. Paul's bazaar will be held this evening.
