Dr Wilkins, F.R.C.S., oculist and auriflt to. the Christchurch Hospital, will shortly visit Napier for a week, and may be consulted on diseases of the eye, ear, and throat. Mr Charles Palmer has for sale a handsome bay pony, with saddle and harness complete. Messrs J. Tucker, Cato, and P. Palmer,;and Mrs Fanny M'Lees announce that on and after to-day they will deliver milk in Napier at threepence per pint. . ...•'- Mr Charles Helander, lately the genial " skipper " of the Southern Cross steamer, has now taken over the Farndon Hotel, and will be glad to see his friends there. The third of the series of winter readings at St. John's school-room will be given on Friday evening. ,1 The steam yacht Waiwera will to-day fee offered for sale by Messrs T. Kennedy Macdonald and Co., Wellington. The yacht; is fitted with a pair of patent compound condensing boilers, of nominal 10-horse power, which steam well with a very sm&ll consumption of coal. The "Waiwera was 1 built by Mr E. W. Mills, at his well-known Lion Foundry, in November last, and is specially adapted for harbor or river passenger traffic, being able to seat 75 passengers. The sale is by order of the trustees in the estate of Mr Mills. Messrs Blythe and Co. insert an advertisement over the leader announcing the opening of their most important shipment of the season, and furnishing a list of clothing arid the Belling prices.
