The drawing for the eight competitors in the two heats of the international , ; regatta to be rowed to-day has resulted as follows: — First heat, Wallace , Bossy Hosmer, Riley, and Nicholson • second heat, Laycock, Trickett, Hawdon, 'and ' ■"'■ Smith. Afternoon. The first heat in the regatta to-day was won by Wallace Boss, with. Hosmer second. The second heat was won by Laycock, with Smith second. In this keat a foul took place between ' Trickett and Smith, and the former was. thus thrown out of the race. v ; :.\ November, 20. The protest which was entered' for ar~*-* foul between Trickett and Smith* in one of the heats has been disallowed by the umpires.
