No entry will be received for any race except Tipon the condition that all claims, disputes, and objections arising shall be decided by the stewards or whom they may appoint, and their decision upon all points Bnall -be final. All .protests must be accompanied with a deposit of 5 soys, which sum will be forfeited to the funds if the protest is not sustained. General entries, Tuesday, Bth March, qualification fee of 2 sovsflfor jnon-members, payable at same time. All nominations, entries, and acceptances, accompanied by the necessary amount in casb, must be addressed to the Secretary and left at the Criterion Hotel, Napier, not later than 8 p.m. on the several specified dates. The rules and weights of the Hawke's Bay Jockey Club will be strictly adhered to. Five per cent, will be deducted from the gross amount of all stakes.
