No entry will be received for any race except upon the condition that all claims, disputes, and objections arising shall be decided by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint, and their decision upon all points shall be final. All protests must be accompanied with a deposit of ssovs, which sum will be forfeited to the funds if the protest is not sustained. No entry will bo received for any race ex cept upon the condition that all claims, die putes, or objections arising shall be settlei by the stewards or whom they may appoint and their decision shall be final. General entries will be received by th Secretary at the Criterion Hotel, Napier, v till 8 p.m. on Saturday, 30th October. No allowance for mares or geldings. The rules in force in Hawke's Bay in con junction with the New Zealand Gran National Steeplechase rules will be strictl adhered to. Five per cent, will be deducted from th gross amount of all stakes.
