The catalogue for Messrs Hoadley and Lyon's produce sale to-morrow is published. 'Tuesday and Thursday next are declared general holidays in Napier. Mr Corbett will show his dissolving viows, descriptivo of the life of Livingstone, &c, at Hastings this evening. Notice is given that at the next meeting of the Petane Koad Board a rate of 3d in the £1 will be struck. The rate-book is open at Mr Yillcrs' hotel. Mr L. White notifies that after October Ist ho will not give longer credit thau one month. Messrs Murray, Eoborts, and Co., have just landed, ex Langstone, several of Kirkman's well- known pianos. These instruments are overstrung, and combine all the latest improvements. They are, exceptionally fine in tone. The date of the sale of the township of Ongar, by Mr Lyndon, has been fixed for the 15th inst. The brethren of Loyal Napier Lodge 1.0.0.P., M.U,, aro requested to attend the funeral of the late Brother Langley this afternoon. The annual meeting of members of the Star Cricket Club will be held this evening. Mr J. Martin, Tennyson-street, announces tho receipt of a direct shipment of tweeds, coatings, &c., in the newest styles. The quarter at the Ladies' College, Cootoroad, commences next Monday.
