♦ Herald Office, Thursday afternoon. Hoadley & "Lyon report a large attendance at Mrs Walker's clearing sale at Maraekakaho. A splendid lot of dranght and other horses ware yarded, but the demand 'was very limited. The following lots prssed the hammer: — 1 driunght gelding £53 ; 1 do., £40; 1 filly, £23; 1,d0., £17; 1 light dranght gelding, £19; ldo., £20; ldo., £18; 1 mare, £10; 1 filly, £5; 1 mare, £5; 1 filly, £9 10; 1 mare, £9 ; 1 wooldray, £20;yl do., £14; 1 spring cart £14. Pigs, harness, mdize," and sundries brought satisfactory prices.
