All entries to close with the Secretary on the 20th December, 1879 at 8 p.m., in the Puketapu School-room, enclosing name and age of horse, and color of tho rider, with pedigree and performances. All entries received must be on the condition that all disputes shall be decided by the Stewards, whose decision shall be final. No one allowed to enter a horse unless he is a subscriber of £1 to the Race Fund. The Hawke's Bay Jockey Club rules will be adhered to as far as practicable.
