LAND BILL.. The amendment made by the Legislative.Council in the Land Act Amendment Bill were in part adopted and in part disagreed with. A committee was appointed to draw up reasons in respect to those disagreed with. : SPECIAL POWERS AND CONTRACTS. The Special Powers and Contracts Bill was further considered in committee, reported with amendments, and read a third time and passed. PUBLIC RESERVES. The Public Reserves Sale Bill was read a second time. On the motion for going into committee on the bill, Mr De Lautour called attention to the great hindrance reserves were becoming to settlement throughout the country, expressed a hope that the Government would see its way to get them done away with. Mr Rolleston admitted the existence of the difficulty, and promised to give the matter consideration during the recess. The bill passed thremgh committee, was reported, read a third time, and passed. ELECTORAL ACTS REPEAL BILL. The Electoral Acts Repeal Bill No. 2 was read a second time, passed through committee, read a third time, and passed; HARBORS BILL.
