MeluoUnH, Tuesday. A large majority of the Upper House are adverse to counsels' opinion that the Government Reform Bill should not be sent to the Legislative Council. Mr Berry stated hi the Assembly that the. Ministry had recommended the Governor to disolve- Parliament, and that the Marquis of Normanby had accepted the recommendation unconditionally, and would grant a dissolution before Christmas-. , The Melbourne Daily Telegraph was nonsuited in the Court of Appeal in the case against Mr Graham Berry, the Court deciding that a Corporation was unable to sue for slander.
