No entry will be received for any race except upon the condition that all claims, disputes, and objections arising shall be decided by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint, and their decision upon all points shall be final. All protests must be accompanied witli a deposit of 5 soys, which sum will be forfeited to the funds if the protest is not sustained. General entries and nominations will be received by the Secretary, at the Criterion Hotel, Napier, up to 8 p.m. on Saturday, 6th March. Qualification fee of £2 payable at the same time. The rules and weights of the Hawke's Bay Jockey Club will be strictly adhered to, subject to any alteration in the scale of weights. Five per cent, will be deducted from the gross amount of all stakes. Horses walking over will reeeiTC 50 per cent, of tho atakes. F. D.
