Tne Uniori Company's s.s. Penguin, Capt. Malcolm, arrived here yesterday morning at 9 o'clock. She left Port Chalmers on the 14th, at 2.30 p.m.; arrived at Lyttelton on the 15th, at 6.30 a.m.; loft at 9.25 p.m. ; arrived at Wellington on the 16th, at 11.25 a.m.; sailed again on the 17th, at 2 p.m.; and arrived here as above. Experienced strong head wind till arrival off the Kidnappers. The Penguin has a cargo of 70 tons, whioh will be landed out of the lighter to-day. She left again for Northorn ports at 6 p.m. We have to thank Mr Stoddard, the purser, for roport and files. The s.s. Result returned from Wairoa yesterday; The s.s. Mohaka cleared at the Customs yesterday for Mohaka, with a full cargo. She will leave at the first favorable opportunity.
