As a favor to Russia the new Turkish Cabinet have called the Turkish troops from the ltoumelian frontier. Forty battalions of regulars have been sent to maintain ordex-. Mr Layard and M. Dufournier, tho British and French Ambassadors, have lodged protests against the Porte's policy of farming the Customs.
