The catalogue contained . 87 sheepskina, 1 hide, 53 bales and 1 bag wool, 9 bales, and 1 pocket pieces, 2 bales 3 pockets and 2 bags locks. Biddidgs did not show the spirit which might have beeu expected in consesquence of. the late rise in the home market several lots being held over. Sheepskins all sold." The following lots passed the hammer at satisfactory prices": — Sheepskins ; Merino, medium, 's£d per lb; TJongwool, good, 4fd, 4Jd; sd, 5Jd ; medium, 3Jd, 4Jd ; inferior, 2d, 2±d. Hide, light weight, 10s.
