T O S TAN T) TIE IS SEA SO N AT KAIKORA, **$%& IP ll Clydesdale Entire Sir Charles is a beautiful bright bay, 4 years old, stands 17 1 hands high, is strong, active, and good tempered, with great fiat bone, and splendid feel, and is a perfect model of the breed. This splendid animal was bred by J. D. Ormond, Esq,, M.H.R., and is out of Lady by Prince Charlie, a horse that gained firsthonors, every time ho was shown, and is acknowledged by breeders to be one af tho best hordes that ever crossed the line. More of his progeny have turned out prize takers than that of any other horse over in the colony Lady is by Lord Eglington (imported) out of an imported marc. Sir Charles has been shown four times, and cacli time carried off first prize ; he has also proved himself a sure foal-getter, not having missed once last season. Terms : £o for single mares ; two or more the property of the same owner, dS4. Groom fees, ss. All marcs must be paid for and removed by Ist January. Young Diamond out of Old Diamond, pure Clydesdale mare, by the celebrated Clydesdale Entire Iron Duke. Iron Duke and Old Diamond both imported to Tasmania by Duncan Campbell, Esq., and as prize-takers were never beaten. Vide New Zealand Stud Book. For symmetry and muscular development they are unequalled. Young Diamond, four years old, was imported to Auckland by G. P Donnelly, Esq., carrying a foal to one of tho best horses in Tasmania; said foal has been also a large prize taker in Auckland, and never was beaten. Young Diamond "was sold at the Meanee about seven yeai-s ago by public auction for the sum of 155 guineas to the late E. A. Carlyon, Esq., from whom Mr George Merritt purchased Honest Tom when nine months old, Young Diamond, tho dam, dying when he was only two weeks old, he beiny therefore brought up by hand. Honest Tom has been serving marcs foi the last two seasons, and is a sure foal getter, having run and served 53 marcs last season, all of which proved in foal to him. He is considered to be one of the grandest and most compact horses in New Zealand He is a dark bay with four white points, standing on four short well set legs, bone ii proportion. He has magnificent loin ant barroll, being well ribbed up, and in ul points a perfect model of symmetry. Honest Tom when two years old took tin first prize at the Hawke's Bay Agricultum Show.
