The dietary scale is most liberal. Second-class and steerage accommodation is all that could bo desired, and the ships are commanded by experienced masters. Tke Company also charters ships of tho highest class as required, and vessels are despatched from London to each of the prinoipal ports of the colony with strict punctuality every month. The Company has also Bhips loading homeward from New Zealand. Arrangements for the passage of frieudß to and from the colony, and also for the conveyance of cargo, can be made at the Head Office, Christchurch, or at any of the Branches in the colony. D.
