WELLINGTON GOSSIP.
(from our own correspondent). Wellington, Friday. There is a long debate, likely to last all night, on the Qualification of Electors' Bill. It is very evident that the bill will emerge from Committee greatly altered. Mr Hall created some sensation by his announcement that the Government did not intend to prevent people having votes in more than one district, and that the clause in the Regulation of Elections Aot, apparently prohibiting this, was a mistake.
