Mr H, Monteith reports his weekly sale as follows : — Horses — The market has been quiet during the past week, but prices are unaltered, the demand being confined chiefly to light harness, and useful medium hacks'. Heavy draughts, £35; medium do., £26; light harness (ordinary), £10 to £14; do. do. (superior), £.15 to £20; useful hacks, £9 to £11-; light d 0. , :£5 to £7. Produce — Potatoes (scarce), £8 10s; riiaize, 3s; oats, 3s 8d ; bran, dull of sale, £5; hay, unthreshed, £5; do. threshed, £3 10s ; chaff, £5.
