ARRIVAL.

Septembor 26—Helen Denny, bai'quo, from London, via Port Chalmers. September 26 — Silver Cloud, schooner, from Newcastle..

The barque Helen Denny, Captain Ruth, arrived in the bay yesterday morning from London, via Port Chalmers. She has about 300 tons of cargo for this port. Immediately she has discharged her inward cargo she will be placed on the berth to load wool and tallow Home. Her agents are Messrs Kinross and Co. Mr J. Vautier's three-masted schooner Silver Cloud, Captain Balle, arrived from Newcastle yesterday morning witli a full cargo of coal consigned to her owner. Immediately after her arrival the pilot, H. Kraeft, boarded her, and successfully brought her inside the port, the Cloud at the time drawing 13 feet of water, which speaks well for this place as a bar harbor. We trust wo shall often see vessels of the same draught of water being brought here. The s:8. Fairy Captain Campbell, is still on the slip being re-painted. She will probably be launched on Monday. The Union Co.'s s.s. Wanaka, Captain M'Gillivray, is duo here on Tuesday next from Southern ports, and will steam same day for the North. It is very probable she will bring up our portion of the 'Frisco mail.
