Caversham election. — Barron, 297 ; Cutten, 251 ; M'lndoe, 127 ; Wilson, 59. Majority for Barron, 48. Waikaia election. — Ireland, 239 ; M'Kenzie, 168 ; Bennett, 121. Taieri election. —Fulton, 195 ; Snow, 152. There are other returns to come in, but they cannot affect the result. Bruce election. — Murray, 245 ; Dyer, 186 ; Mosely, 115. Timaru, Tuesday. Geraldine election. — Wakefield, 217 ; Feldwick, 160. Auckland, Tuesday. Onehunga election.— -O'Rorke, 228; Graham, 69. Waitemata election. — Reader Wood returned by a large majority. Western Maori election. — WairoaSouth: Major Te Wheoro, 41 ; Hoani Taipua, 2. Northern Maori election. — The following is the present state of the poll : — Sydney Taiwhanga, 321 ; Hone Mohi, 306 j Heta Te Haora, 201 ; HoniTa whiti, 179 ; Timoto Puhipi, 122. Returns have yet to come in from eight places. The final result can scarcely be known before Friday. Gisborne, Tuesday. East Maori election : — Henare Tomoana, 88 ; Henare Matua, 66. Opotiki, Tuesday. East Maori election. — Henare Tomoana, 66 ; Henare Matua, 1. Taupo, Tuesday. East Coast Maori elections. — Hans Tapsall, 56 ; Henare Tomoana, 27 ; Henare Matua, 6 j Henare Potae, 0.
. Christchurch, Tuesday. South Maori . election.— Tainui, 268 ; Prratene, 43?; Matefaga, 9 ; Herangi, 37. There aro three returns to come in, biifc they will not. affect the position of the candidates. The result oi the Hcathcotc electioii was :— Mr Filler, . 030 'Mr Morgan, 337 } mdjofity for Mr Fisher, 299. Westport, Tuesday. Buller election.— Fisher, 222 ; Henry, 174. There are several other returns to come in, but Fisher is virtually elected.
