MILLER Has rpceivGfl instructions from Hugh M'Lellan, Esq., of Te Haroto, to sell by Public Auction, ab the Criterion Hotol, Napier, on Thursday, 4th September next, The whole of his "t easehold & freehold estate, JLj known as THE TARAWERA AND TATAROKINA BLOCK 3, Together containing about 130,000 acres Leasehold, 13 years to run of lease ; rent, £210 per annum 490 acres Freehold at Te Haroto, with ovit-statirm thereon and cultivation paddock 15 acres Town and Suburban Sections in Township of Tarawera. The whole with 10,000 Sheep, about SOOO of these being well-bred Meiino, the remainder cross-bred Together with all Station Plant and 18 Horses, 1 Team of Bullocks, Dray, &c. There is a now woolshed capable of covering 400 sheep and storing 100 bales wool, newsheep yards and home huts, and about 8000 • feet sawn timber ready towards new dwellinghouse, two out-station huts and yards, , four small paddocks, and two large ditto. About 10 miles of seven-wire fence has lately been erected ; this with the numerous good natural boundaries, and. about five mile 3 fencing material now ready for erection, will divide the property into six portions. This property is situated about 35 miles from Napier ; the inland coach road passes right through its breadth, and it has frontage to the Mohaka River of about 20 miles, with numerous never-failing streams, tributaries of that river, running through the property. On the two blocks there are about 60,000 acres of rich pastoral hills and downs, about 30,000 acres medium and light ditto, and the remainder bush. Besides the natural grass, of which there is a good amount, several hundred acres in different parts have been sown with artificial grasses, and all doing well. At present thegrun would carry 15,000 sheep, and will yearly increase in carrying capacity by burning off the fern and stocking alone, while if outlay ia undertaken in Bowing artificial grasses the property could be made in very few years to carry 130, 0C0 Bheep, while the wool from this country is known as sound and healthy, and the lambinga have been most satisfactory.
