Horses were in full supply with a low 'market. At Waverley 97 head of cattle were yarded. Cows and Calves,* -^E5 r -6B S ;'- cows; £4 17s 6d to £6 ; steers, £6 2s 6d to £7 2s 6d. At St. Hillstreet 237 head were 1 sold. Fat cows, £6 -iW^ato £9 5e ; steers, £5 to £5 5s 6d-j cows, "£& 10s to, £s. ss; yearlings, £3; mixed young stores/ £3 10s ; calves, £2 10s. Afc^«W.ay£rley,{ 1100 r» sheep; were> penned. Ewes made 3s ; lambs were. passed in at Is 6d. At the yards, to-day 820 sheep were fiolJUjeweß,^;9d,}. wethers, 7s to. Bs.
