The steamere Result and Clyde both arrived from Wairoa on Sunday night. The bar at the Wairoa is now good. The Southern Cross.s.s., Captain Helander, discharged her cargo yasrerday, and shipped some live stock, and left for the North last evening. The Clyde, s.s., was to leave for the Wairoa last night. „/«.„.' The Wanata, s.s., Captain M'Gillirray, is due here early this morning from Wellington. She left the latter port yesterday morning at 9 a.m. , and has about 15 tons of cargo for Napier, which will be brought on shore by tha Three Brothers. The Wanaka leaves again for "the North this morning, as per advertisement. The Ladybird, s.s., Captain Malcolm, arrived in the Bay yesterday morning from Northern ports, and was tendered at once by the Bella for passengers and cargo The Ladybird left again for the South yesterday, at 1 p.m. . The schooners Poneke and Endeavor aro both discharging their respective cargoes at the breastwork. •
