THE CHARGE OF PERJURY AGAINST MR KINROSS.

The charge of perjury against Mr Kinross, of Napier, was down for hearing at the Besident Magistrate's Court, Wellington, yesterday. Mr Rees appeared for tha prosecution, and Messrs W. T. L. Travers and Martin Chapman for the defendant. Mr Mansford said the case had been brought into Court without his being consulted in any way. He would not therefore allow it to take precedence of any ordinary work of the Court. The ' first day that ho would have entirely
