COMMERCIAL.

Herald Office, Wednesday afternoon. Messrs Routledge, Kennedy and Co. report a meagre attendance and slock bidding at their sale of Mr Fleming's cattle, at the sale yards, to-day, which is no doubt attributable to the scarcity of grass at present. Should we be blessed with a good rainfall shortly this will be remedied. In all 70 head were sold as follows : 35 three-year-old steers, £5 10s to £7 5s each ; 22 two-year-old steers, £5 5s each ; 13 two-year-old neifers, £4 10s each.
