EASTER OFFERINGS.
Sir, — I am informed that the collections in our several Episcopal churches throughout the diocese on next Sunday (Easter Day) are to be presented to the clergyman as an offering from the congregation. If I am correctly informed, the clergyman in each parish will thus have a substantial proof how he stands with his people ; and the people themselves will thus have a very favorable opportunity of evincing whether they have confidence or not in the man to whom their spiritual interests are entrusted. — I am, &c, A.
