Herald Office, Friday evening. Messrs Hoadley and Lyon report a poor attendance at their sale of cattle to-day at the Shamrock yards, consequently prices did not x-ule quite so high as they have done at previous sales recently. The following prices were realised :— Two-year-old steers, £5 ; two-year-old heifers and dry cows, from £5 to £7 15s ; cows with calves, £6 to £7.
