SAWMILLI AT PALMERSTON, With three acres of land as a site, 600 acres, land freehold, partly fenced and cleared, and partly standing timber; likewise 900 acre 1 ) bush land, with lease for ten years ; with all conveniences by way of tramways and railway, " connecting with the main line to Wanganui and Foxton. No. 2. HOKOWHITd SAWMILL. ; Also in the Township of Palmerston, with machinery and appliances capable of cutting 1,500,000 feet timber per annum. The bush land in connection with this mill is leasehold, but extend' ing over a long term of years. No. 3. TRONDHEIM MILL, BUNNYTHORPE, With 700 acres of freehold, machinery also, capable of cutting 1,500,000 feet timber per year. No. 4. PALMERSTON FLOUR MILL. With planing - machines attached. In connection with the mills there are bullocks, and all necessary appliances, the industry being at the present time in full working order. The Flour Mill is doing a large and in - . creasing business, situated as it is in the midst of a splendid agricultural district ; while in view of the great, demand for . timber, the sawmills have not been able to execute the amount of orders lately upon hand.
