EXPECTED ARRIVALS.

The B.s. Wanaka, Captain M'Gillivray arrived in the bay at 6 a.m. yesterday morning, and was tendered at once by the Bella, which brought her passengers ashore. The Wanaka left again yesterday at 1 p.m. for the South. The s.B. Eotorua, Captain Carey, is due here this afternoon from Southern ports. She will take our portion of the outward San Francisco mail, and leaves for the North this evening at 5 o'clock. We may mention that Mr M'Queen, formerly chief engineer of the 8.8. Taupo, has been appointed chief engineer of the Eotorua, which, vessel he will join today. The s.s. Clyde, Captain Peterson, arrived yesterday afternoon from the Wairoa, and wag to leave again last night for the same port. The barque Adamant, Captain Bowling, did not clear at the Customs yesterday as expected. The s.s. Rangatira, Captain Evans, is due here to-morrow from Wellington.

The schooner Atlantic hai discharged her inward cargo, and is taking in ballast The s.s. Fairy, Captain Campbell, returned from the coast yesterday morning. She is loading up again with grass seed and station stores for the coast.
