Go-Ahe*ad arrived in the Bay yesterday from fche South. The s.s. Southern Cross, Captain Helander, will finish discharging her cargo of timber today, and will leave for the North tins evening as per advertisement. The s.s. Rangitira, Captain Evans, leaves Wellington to-day, and is due here to-morrow. She is advertised to leave this port for Poverty Bay on Monday. The lighters Why-Not and Maid of the Mill discharged yesterday ex Mendoza. The port is still quiet on acoount of the raooß,
