Blaok Mare, aged 6 yrs, by Eattan, out of a Pacific Mare (foal at foot by Javelin. Bay Gelding Daybreak, aged 7 yrs, by Rattan, out of a Riddleswqrthmare. He won the Consolation Stakes at the Napier Bpring Meeting, the Cup and Ladies' Purse at Patea, and was the first past the post for the Open Race at Woodthorpe, carrying list 41b (a good jumper and first-clasa hack).
