PROVINCIAL PRODUCE STAKES— Of 60 sovb, with a sweepstakes of 3 sovb each for starters added, for all horses bred in the Provincial District of Hawke's Bay that have never won an advertised race exceeding £25 in value at time of entry. If entered to be sold for £10, allowed 71bs ; if for £30, allowed 141bs ; if for £20, allowed 2Ubs; if for £10, allowed 281bs ; any surplus to go to the funds. CONSOLATION HANDICAP— Of 30 bovb, for all beaten horses (hacks excepted). Distance 1 nrle. Entrance, £2. No entry wi 11 . be received for any race except upon the condition that all claims, disputes, and objections arising shall be decided by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint, and their decision upon all points shall be final. The rules and weights of the Canterbury Jockey Club will be strictly adhered to. Five per cent, will be deducted from the gross amount of all stakes.
