The dietary scale is most liberal. Second-class and steerage accommodation is all that could be desired> and the ships are commanded by experienced masters. The Company also charters ships of the highest class as required, and vessels are despatched from London to each of the principal ports of the colony with strict punctuality every month. The Company has also ships loading homeward from New Zealand.
