HURDLE} RACE, of — soys; distance two miles, over seven hurdles 3ft 6in in heiyht; weight for age; nomination. £1 j entrance, £2. 2. HACK HURDLE RACE, of — soys ; distance one mile ; catch weights ; en trance 10s. 3. PATANGATA PLATE, of — soys ; distance two miles ; nomination, £1 ; entrance^ £2 ; weight for age. 4. DISTRICT PLATE, of boys ; distance one mile and a half ; weight for age ; entrance 103. 5. SCRATCH RACE, of — soys ; distance three-quarters of a mile ; catch weights ; entrance 10s." 6. CONSOLATION RACE, of — boys; distance one mile ; entrance 10s. Conditions : No entrance will be received for any of the pbove' races except upon the following conditions': — •No horse having previously won any public race or stake shall be allowed to enter. No professional jockey shall be allowed to ride iv any race. All disputes of whatever nature shall be settled by the majority of the stewards, or by whom they may appoint. All entries for the Hurdle Race and the Pataganta Plate to be sent in to the secretary, accompanied by fee, on or before Saturday, March Ist; ' Colors to be 1 stated at the same time. All entrance fees for the other races to be paid prior to the race. None but subscribers of £1 Is to the Patangata Race Fund shall be allowed to enter any horse for any race, and no person otherwise than tho bona fide owner of the horse shall be allowed to enter two horses.
