WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of "The Harbors Act, 1878," an Election, by the ratepayers of the Borough of Napier, of Three Members of the Napier Harbor Board, will be held on the second Monday in the month of February next ensuing. Now, therefore, I, George Walter Cullen, having been duly appointed the Returning Officer, by and before whom such Election shall be held, do hereby give notice that I have appointed the office of the Town Clerk, Napier, as the place, and Monday, the third day of February, 1879, as the day, for the Nomination of Candidates ; and further notify that any persons desirous of nominating a candidate must, before noon of the said third day of February, cause to be addressed to me, "and delivered at the said office of the Town Clerk, a nomination paper in the form prescribed by the "Regulation of Local Elections Act, 1876," stating the Christian name and surname of such candidate ; and such Domination paper must be signed by two Electors of the Borough of Napier, aad by the Candidate himself in token of his assent to such nomination.
