And notice is hereby given that the Hon. Matthew Holmes retires from the office of Director of this Bank, in terms of the 42nd Clause of the Deed of Settlement, and that he is not until the ensaing election eligible tor re-election ; and that the following Pro- ' prietors have given notice, in terms of Clause 45 of the Deed, that they are Candidates for i the office of Director thus vacated, viz. : — JAMES RATTJRAY, Esq. At such meeting the term of office of the present Auditors will expire, and it will be the business of the meeting to elect two proprietors to be Auditors for the ensuing year, pursuant to Clause 97 of the Deed of Settlement. Of the retiring Auditors, one only {Mr Wm. P. Street) is eligible, and offers himself for re-election as an Auditor.
